La Jeune Fille. 2005

'La Jeune Fille' is a short experimental film, which visualizes parts of the aria 'Air des clochettes' from the opera Lakmé by Léo Delibes. The song has a beautiful, romantic and slightly melancholic sound, which is very affective and lingering. In particular the piece wants to convey the emotional affect visually, which the song evokes aurally.
