Christina Rüegg is a multi-media artist interested in creating multi-sensory emotional experiences and challenging new ways of perceiving. She has always been affected by and lived in a duality with the visual and the aural, and therefore is inspired by the idea of addressing these two senses. On one hand, she is a trained classical singer, performing several concerts as the lead soprano. On the other hand, she holds a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from the School of Arts in St. Gallen Switzerland, has several years of experience as a print and motion graphic designer and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design in New York.

Christina Rüegg received the Joseph Binder Award in 1998 for “Best of Category: Animation”, worked on several mixed media projections for installations and VJ-sets in Zurich, the House of Diehl fashion show at the Tribecca Grand in New York, as well as Peoples Portrait by Zhang Ga shown at Times Square New York, V_2 Rotterdam, SENI Singapore, Ars Electronica Linz and MAAP Brisbane.
